On 16-17th May 2019, the 22nd MCCE AAR OPS Meeting took place at the RAF Base in Mildenhall, Great Britain.
This meeting was attended by 32 representatives from 6 MNs[1] (DEU, PRT, GBR, NLD, POL, USA[2]), 9 organizations (EATC[3], JAPCC[4], MCCE[5], MMF[6], NETMA[7], DACCC[8], CAOC[9] Uedem, AIRCOM[10], C/KC-135 International Programs Branch AFLCMC/WKDI[11]), and Airbus civilian company.
The symposium focused the MNs attention predominantly on:
- ATARES based cooperation
- Trust and interoperability among the Nations
- Commercial AAR services as a potential solution for the shortage of Military AAR assets
- Multinational MRTT Fleet
- National Updates
- AAR Certification processes and updates
- MCCE support for operations, exercises and training in peace time.
