Following EX Trident Juncture 2018, many MCCE nations identified a lack of LOGFAS knowledge and capacity.
Many personnel desired a better ability to combine the LOGFAS knowledge and the skills to use it as the one tool to support strategic deployment/redeployment and RSOM(I)/RMSD planning.
MCCE developed an approach to provide LOGFAS Workshops (WS) to continue additional skills development. Students build on previous LOGFAS Fundamentals instruction to build their ‘toolbox’ and apply their knowledge to realistic planning scenarios in order to be fit for exercises and missions.
The Austrian Armed Forces hosted the 10th LOGFAS WS in Vienna from 4-15 Sep 2023. Mentored by MCCE instructors, participants from several nations worked together in a multinational planning environment, increasing skills and exchanging ideas.
The students now return with valuable skills & experience gained, to be shared and applied in future planning in their home nations.
