On the 9th of July 2024, Rear Admiral Wolter Sillevis Smitt (NLD N), together with the NLD SB & WB representatives visited the MCCE.
The Rear Admiral is the Chief of the International Military Cooperation Branch in the Dutch MoD.
During this informal visit, Rear Admiral Wolter Sillevis Smitt received a briefing from the MCCE Director to provide him all possible information to receive a good level of knowledge of MCCE core business and its role as global multi-national and multi-modal coordinator in the realm of military mobility.
Among topics discussed were the MCCE strategic way ahead, the MCCE networking capabilities, MCCE procedures, and national expectations.
After the MCCE visit, the Rear Admiral also visited the EATC (European Air Transport Command) and the MMU (MRTT Multinational Unit), both co-located at Eindhoven Airbase.
