On the 20th and 21st of June 2024, the MCCE Director, Col Cassarà, supported by the MCCE AAR Cell Chief, participated in a meeting, hosted by the US Forces in Japan, at Yokota AB – Tokyo, with the Japan Self-Defense Forces (JSDF) and US INDOPACOM.
During two days of intensive briefings and in-depth discussions, the MCCE team provided all relevant information to the JSDF, for them to acquire the necessary level of knowledge regarding MCCE core business and logistic services provided globally for the 30 MCCE Participant Nations, in the realm of military mobility and AAR services.
The visit increased the mutual understanding of the MCCE framework and procedures, national expectations, and possibilities for cooperation within the Pacific Area.
