Hosted by the HUN, the 19th meeting of the MCCE SB was held in Budapest on the 11 June 2025.
22 Participant Nations were physically present during the meeting.
The WB Chair gave an update on the output of the last two WB, the 34th WB in Riga and the 35th WB in Oirschot.
DMCCE gave an update on MCCE activity over the last year and plans for the future.
The Standing Advisory Working Group (SAWG) Chair briefed on the progress of their work on the TA amendments, whilst the Chair of the FAWG (Future and Adaptation Working Group) building on their presentation from the previous WB, presented an update that triggered a very interesting discussion among participants.
The incoming Director (Col. Erik van de Ven) was appointed by the board and the MCCE Change of Command ceremony was fixed for the 4th of September 2025.
CZE was nominated to provide the next SB Chair.
The 19th MCCE SB was a successful and productive, both with decisions taken and idees shared. Looking forward to even more fruitful discussions in the upcoming meetings. MCCE thanks all participating nations for their attendance and the Host Nation for supporting the event.
