On 22 May Brig Gen Patrick Goossens, the Deputy Director of the European Air Group (EAG), visited MCCE.
From the inception of the MCCE the EAG has been an integral part of our history and drove the initial concept for strategic airlift cooperation.
BG Goossens was conducting a wider engagement visit, including EATC and briefed on the topic of Improving Capability Through Interoperability.
Chief Operations joined the visit at EATC and then BG Goossens and his staff were hosted in MCCE.
After discussions and an office call the BG was given a tour of the facility and enjoyed briefings provided by the wider staff in the Ops room and the chance to engage and question the team directly.
