Memorandum of Agreement with JSEC

On 10 DEC 2025 DMCCE COL Erik van de Ven signed a Memorandum of Agreement with NATO, JSEC, who is home to AMCC. Signatory for JSEC was DCOS OPS JSEC, MG Dirk Kipper.

The Agreement is the latest update in a long history of cooperation between the two organisations dating back to 2004 between MCCEs predeceasing organisations EAC, SCC and the AMCC.

Both signatories are looking forward to improving bilateral cooperation and information exchange for example with a view to the support for provision of strategic lift for NATO Command Structure (NCS) elements in support of Operations and Exercises. This cooperation creates mutual benefits and will form the basis for long term capacity building.

Background information:

The Joint Support and Enabling Command (JSEC) is a static headquarters at the operational level with multinational personnel directly subordinate to the Supreme Allied Commander Europe (SACEUR) and his Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE) in Mons, Belgium. It coordinates NATO troop movements and their sustainment across the Alliance in all possible directions, so that the right troops are at the right place at the right time.
