On the 19th of November 2024, LTG Jered Helwig (USA) visited MCCE. The LTG is the Deputy Commander of USTRANSCOM.
During this visit, the LTG Helwig, and his team, received a tour of the OPS room and briefing from the MCCE Deputy Director. The briefing provided LTG Helwig with information on MCCE core business and its role as global multi-national and multi-modal coordinator in the realm of military mobility.
During the meeting many topics were discussed, focusing on current, planned and potential activity and investigating areas for USTRANSCOM to gain greater benefit from the opportunities offered by the MCCE network. Furthermore, the MCCE strategic way ahead, networking capabilities, procedures and mutual expectations were discussed.
MCCE looks forward to enhancing international cooperation in the realm of military (multimodal) transportation with USTRANSCOM in future.
