DESCRIPTION:Dear Ladies and Gentlemen\, \nDear Sir or Madam\, \n  \nOn behalf of Hungary as the host nation\, MCCE Inland Surface Transport Cell and Sea Transport Cell would like to invite you to the 51th IST OPS Meeting and the 78th ST OPS meeting at Balatonakarattya\, Hungary\, 20 – 23 April 2026. \nEvent Schedule \n20 April 2026: IST icebreaker (evening) \n21 April 2026: 51st IST Ops Meeting \nIST social dinner (evening) \n22 April 2026: Combined 51st IST Ops Meeting & 78th ST Ops Meeting \nJoint ST icebreaker and social dinner (evening) \n23 April 2026: 78th ST Meeting \n  \nMeetings’ objectives \nThe objectives of the meetings are: \n\nFor nations to brief on national inland surface transport and sealift movement plans (please find templates for the national updates shortly via the following links):\n\n– 51. IST Meeting – National update template \n– 51. IST Ops Meeting – Offers-Requests-Exercises-Operations template \n– 78. ST Meeting – National update template \n  \n\nTo discuss and identify possibilities for cooperation\nTo network and exchange information and ideas.\n\n  \nAgenda \nThe event’s agenda can be downloaded at the following link: \n\nPDF  AGENDA 51. ST OPS Meeting 2026.03.25\n\nPlease kindly note that the uploaded programmes are only drafts and might be subject to change. \nWe would also welcome suggestions for potential guest speakers. \nProposals should be submitted NLT 16 March 2026 to: ist@mcce-mil.com or sealift@mcce-mil.com \nFurthermore\, if you have any remarks or additional inputs\, which should be included in the agendas\, please send a mail to ist@mcce-mil.com or sealift@mcce-mil.com NLT 10 April 2026. \n  \nRegistration \nPlease be kindly informed that the registration must be completed NLT 10 April 2026. \nTo allow the host nation to plan appropriately\, you will be asked to provide certain information during the registration process. \nPlease be aware that to organise the 51th IST Ops Meeting and the 78th ST OPS Meeting this website is used jointly. Therefore\, please register for the respective meeting by using the Event Manager system via the following link \nREGISTER \nDuring the registration you will be asked to select in which meeting you would like to participate. \nIf desired\, participants are welcome to bring their partner or spouse. Please note that guest details\, including ID or passport information\, will be required during registration. Once registered\, participants will also be informed about the cost of taking part in the icebreaker/social activities. \nIf you are not able to attend the 51th IST Ops Meeting and the 78th ST OPS meeting\, please let us know via email by using the following address ist@mcce-mil.com or sealift@mcce-mil.com. \n  \nConference Venue and Accommodation \nThe meetings will take place at the Magyar Honvédség Rekreációs\, Kiképzési és Konferencia Központ (ENG: HDF Recreation Center)\, Address: 8172 Balatonakarattya\, Tompa Mihály utca 1. (utca means street). \nConference venue website: https://honvedudulo.hu/ \nA block reservation has been arranged by the host nation at the meeting’s venue. However\, each participant is responsible for making their own hotel reservation. \nRoom Rates\nRates range between 8790 and 12808 HUF-equivalent\, depending on the type of room selected and are expressed in Hungarian Forint (HUF). (Rates are per night\, per person and include breakfast) \nConversion into EUR or other currencies will be calculated at the time of payment. \nYou are kindly requested to make your reservation using the following link \nHotel Reservation  \nPlease note that reservations can be made until 10 April 2026. After this date\, bookings will still be possible; however\, room availability cannot be guaranteed. \nPlease be aware that the rooms will be available from Sunday\, 19 April 2026\, 16:00 to Sunday\, 26 April 2026\, 10:00\, in case you wish to extend your stay. \nCancellation Policy\nCancellations will not incur any charges. \n  \nAdmin \nTo organise the meetings\, the Event Manager system will be used. \nWe kindly inform you that separate conference fees apply for each meeting. \nPlease note that the conference fee is €80 per meeting\, conference fees will be collected on site\, in cash only. For your convenience\, an invoice will be provided. \nDress Code \n\nMeetings: Business Casual\nIcebreaker: Casual\nHosted dinners: Casual\n\nTransportation to the conference venue to and from the airport\, is your individual responsibility. Trains & taxis are available (2hrs by train; 80 min by taxi – approx. 140 €). \nHowever\, the host nation is providing a shuttle service with the following schedule: \n\nMonday\, 20 April 2026: Airport – hotel: 12:00; 14:00; 16:00\nTuesday\, 21 April 2026: Airport – hotel: 14:00\nThursday\, 23 April 2026: Hotel – airport: 13:00\n\nDuring the registration process you will be able to book a seat. \n  \nThis website will be updated on a regular basis as additional details will become available.
