The Joint Support Enabling Command (JSEC) was established as a static operational HQ, responsible to SACEUR and SHAPE.
It is responsible in peacetime to “contribute to enablement and help the Alliance set the theatre for reinforcement by forces”, and in crisis to “coordinate reinforcement by forces, and … sustain military forces in the Euro-Atlantic area …”
JSEC was established in 2018 and reached FOC in Sep. 2021.
MCCE Directorate staff met with JSEC Operations staff on 26 Sep 2023, to renew connections with AMCC counterparts and build new relationships with JSEC partners.
It is hoped that this renewed connection will build towards an update to the mutual cooperation agreement between the two organisations.
