In December 2025, a delegation from the MCCE, consisting of the Director of MCCE, the Chief of Operations, a representative from the ST Cell, and two members from the AT Cell, visited the Slovak National Movement Coordination Centre (SVK NMCC) in Bratislava, Slovakia.
The primary purpose of the visit was to introduce the new Commander of the SVK NMCC, Lt Col Peter Benko, who assumed his role in October 2025. Both the MCCE and SVK NMCC presented briefings on their respective organizations, highlighting current, planned, and potential future activities.
Discussions focused on the MCCE’s support for SVK transportation requests, the balance between SVK ATARES and SEOS, and upcoming activities where SVK may seek assistance from the MCCE. Special attention was given to Air-to-Air Refuelling, a capability recently acquired by the Slovak Armed Forces.
The MCCE emphasized that, although Slovakia is one of the smaller nations, it has been one of the most active participants in the MCCE in 2025, both as a requestor and a provider, making requests and/or providing offers for air, sea, and surface transportation.
The visit concluded with excellent hospitality from the SVK NMCC, culminating in a social dinner at one of the most traditional Slovak restaurants in the heart of Bratislava.
