The 34th AAR OPS Meeting took place in Hamburg (DEU) on the 17th of March 2026.
The meeting provided the opportunity to all the participants to share their national plans, projects, and challenges.
MCCE launched the meeting by introducing the DRIFT project – Dynamic Refueling Initiative for Fighter Training – aiming to drift from a reactive coordination to a pro-active planning for AAR training in Europe.
This initiative aims to establish a regular AAR training pattern in Northern and Eastern Europe whilst addressing the main caveats to integrate the new tanker and fighter fleets operating in Europe.
Participants actively engaged in conversation and analysis during the meeting, increased networking contacts during breaks and side events, which provided valuable insights and perspectives.
Many thanks to the German Air Force for organizing an excellent event and providing the essential foundation for a successful meeting.
