MCCE visit to General Staff of the Czech Armed Forces and MLCC

The MCCE Director, Group Captain Stuart Gregory, visited the Logistic Division in General Staff of the Czech Armed Forces on 23th of January 2020 where he had an opportunity to meet with the newly appointed MCCE Working Board Chairman, COL Patrik Tabaček. The delegation was also invited for a meeting in the Multinational Logistics Coordination Centre (MLCC) with the Director of MLCC, COL Daniel Zlatník.

The meeting with COL Tabaček focused on improvements in cooperation between the Czech Republic and other MCCE Member Nations including national standards and policies in the movement coordination and utilization of MCCE services, especially the ATARES and SEOS exchange mechanisms. The MCCE Director had the opportunity to meet with the Head of the Logistic Division, Maj Gen Muránský who expressed his interest in visiting the MCCE in the near future.

The aim of the meeting with the Director of MLCC was to introduce the main tasks and objectives of both entities and to discuss an effective and productive cooperation. Several areas for possible further cooperation were identified, such as training development, mutual assistance in the coordination and conduct of deployment exercises or the combined effort to support EUBG rotations.
