On the 14 of November 2025, CDRE Maxine Lawes of New Zealand visited the MCCE.
CDRE Lawes is Commander Logistics, Defence Logistics Command, NZL Defence Force.
During this visit, CDRE Lawes accompanied by Maj Hawthorne, Advisor Logistics Engagements, received a tour of the OPS room and a briefing from DMCCE and CH OPS MCCE.
The briefing provided CDRE Lawes with information on MCCE core business in addition to more details on ATARES and SEOS.
During the meeting many topics were discussed, focusing on expanding opportunities for partnership between MCCE and NZL.
Since NZL did not have the opportunity to attend an ascension ceremony in 2024 when they joined MCCE, the opportunity was taken to hoist the NZL flag at MCCE.
MCCE looks forward to enhancing the already strong partnership with NZL in the future.
