MCCE staff visited the Bulgarian Armed Forces on 3-5 October 2023.
The purpose was to reinforce the relationships, increase mutual knowledge, and enhance cooperation.
MCCE staff visited the Logistics Support Command HQ in Sofia, the Sofia airbase, Movement Control Team Command Post in Burgas, and the air-and-seaport in Burgas.
Several briefings were exchanged, followed by discussions in the M&T domain.
In addition to the briefings, the MCCE delegations were shown some of Bulgaria’s air assets and infrastructure both for air and sea.
The Bulgarian Commander of the Logistic Support Command – BGen. Todor Todorov, along with General Officers and Senior Staff – joined the discussions with the MCCE delegation.
The MCCE team was led by Director Col Cassara, and included the Deputy Director, Chief Operations and Senior Staff from each of the Operations Sections.
The meetings were very productive and the MCCE looks forward to further exchanging information and increasing cooperation with the Bulgarian Armed Forces.
