UK Engagement Visit

September 15 – 17, 2026

To maximise engagement and in the spirit of efficient multi-modal movements, the UK engagement visit was conducted by road and rail. In reality this meant departing MCCE Eindhoven at 0500 for Calais and then returning to Eindhoven at 2300 on Thurs.

The first engagement took place at RAF Brize Norton, where the Voyager (A330) Delivery Team hosted discussions on Air-to-Air Refuelling opportunities. Productive exploratory talks were held with representatives from the Air Mobility Force, 11 Group A5, and the Voyager Delivery Team, identifying several areas for potential future collaboration. We also enjoyed a rare opportunity to see a MMU MRTT aircraft undergoing deep maintenance.

The team then travelled to Bristol for meetings at MOD Abbey Wood with MCCE’s principal PoCs, namely Brigadier Joe Brown and his staff within the Defence Supply Chain Operations & Movements (DSCOM). We were incredibly fortunate that our visit coincided with the RAF Battle of Britain Dining-In Night, a fantastic experience.

On the return journey, a visit to Northwood Headquarters in London provided an opportunity to engage with the UK’s Very High Readiness HQs, including the Joint Force HQ (JFHQ), Standing Joint Force Logistics Component (SJFLogC), and the Permanent Joint Headquarters (PJHQ), to discuss potential collaboration and operational planning involvement.
