2nd MCCE LOGFAS Academics for Ex CoLo26

July 27 @ 08:00 - July 31 @ 12:00

The 2nd MCCE LOGFAS Academics course

for Exercise Connected Logistician-2026 (Ex CoLo26)

from 27 July to 31 July 2026 in Eindhoven

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Background

The 2nd LOGFAS Academics course for Exercise Connected Logistician-2026 (Ex CoLo26) will take place in Eindhoven (Military Aibase Barrack) from 27 July to   31 July 2026.

The training will incorporate Logistic planning and coordination on the Strategic, Operational, Tactical level, Movement and Sustainment using LDM, EVE, ADAMS, CORSOM modules of LOGFAS. The focus will be using LOGFAS for deployment planning, execution and sustainment of forces including Logistics Reporting.

The Movement Coordination Centre Europe (MCCE), Eindhoven, Netherlands is organizing LOGFAS Movement and Transportation Battle Staff Training(M&T BST) Functional System Training. The training attendees will receive a certificate for the LOG-LG-36828 LOGFAS Movement and Transportation Battle Staff Training (M&T BST) as this is part of this training.

The LOGFAS Academics will take for 5 days.

Description:

Information is the key to any modern coalition operation. Therefore there is a clear requirement to provide coherent, useful information to logistic planners on available logistic capability in a multi-national environment. Operators at NCS/NFS as well as in nations are required to be able to manage logistics information by using LOGFAS suite of tools.

Aim:

Even if there is personnel available that did some courses of LOGFAS modules they often lack the ability to combine the knowledge and the skills of using LOGFAS as the one tool to support strategic deployment/redeployment and RSOM(I)/RMSD planning.

The big differences are that no certificates for LOGFAS modules are issued, no full modules are taught and the purpose is not to give a complete overview on LOGFAS but to provide a toolbox for the tasks mentioned above.

The MCCE Academics provide a scenario-based training that covers all those activities in order to be fit for exercises and missions.

Programme

Module I. is to introduce the system, teach the steps in LOGFAS and make the students familiar with the processes, the second one is actually a scenario based training course where the participants are invited to do the planning using LOGFAS on their own. Doing the planning does not mean that they are taught in the planning as at the NATO School Oberammergau. They get the results out of that planning process and do the detailed transport planning with LOGFAS.

Rough overview about the content of Module I:

  • Administration and System overview
  • Geographical Manager bases for the further training
  • LDM up to the creation of force profile and holdings
  • ADAMS up to the creation of a DDP including deconfliction and merging to a MNDDP
  • EVE up to creating a FEP out of the MNDDP
  • CORSOM RSOM/RMSD

Here you will find the: Programme for LOGFAS Academics training

For the participation at Module II. the entire Module I. is required.

Module II. builds up on the first one. The same scenario is used, the process remains the same which now should be conducted by the participants as different parties in the process including presentations, negotiations and deconfliction under supervision and guidance of the instructor.
