Course Overview

Information is the key to any modern coalition operation. To succeed in a multi-national environment, there is a clear requirement to provide logistic planners with coherent, useful information regarding available capabilities.

The purpose of this course is to provide military and civilian personnel from NATO, Partner Nations, and Organizational Headquarters with fundamental knowledge of the LOGFAS system, focusing on basic data operations. Operators will learn to manage logistics information effectively using the LOGFAS suite of tools.

Upon completion, attendees will be able to utilize the following software modules at a general level:

• • LCM (LOGFAS Connection Manager)
  • LDM (LOGFAS Data Management Module)
  • GEOMAN (Geographical Manager Module)

Certification: The course is NATO certified. Attendees will receive a NATO certificate meeting all requirements of ETOC Course Description LOG-LG-26827.

Venue & Security Access

Location: MCCE, Military Airbase Eindhoven Building 551 (Classroom: Amsterdam) Flight Forum, 5600 RA Eindhoven, The Netherlands

Access Requirements: As the course takes place on a military installation managed by the Dutch Armed Forces, strict access control applies. All attendees must carry a valid national passport or ID. Successful applicants will be contacted via email prior to the course to collect the personal information required to grant base access.

• • Classification: Overall classification is NATO/PfP UNCLASSIFIED.
  • Language Requirement: Training is conducted in English. In accordance with NATO STANAG SLP 6001, a minimum proficiency level of 2222 is required.
  • Dress Code: Military uniform (BDU) for military personnel; business casual for civilian participants.

Transportation

Daily Shuttle Service: MCCE organizes daily transport between the Sandton Eindhoven Centre and the Airbase. The bus departs from the hotel parking lot at 07:30 every morning and returns at the end of the training day.

Important Note: According to Dutch military regulations, the shuttle requires a minimum of registered passengers to operate. Should this number not be reached, participants are encouraged to carpool or use public transport.

Public Transport Alternative: Take Bus No. 400 from Eindhoven Central Railway Station to Eindhoven Airport. From the airport, it is approximately a 10-minute walk to the Airbase.

Eligibility: Please note that attendance for this iteration of the course is strictly exclusive to personnel of the Dutch Ministry of Defence (MoD).
