Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
On behalf of Romania as the host nation, MCCE Inland Surface Transport Cell and Sea Transport Cell would like to invite you to the 52nd IST OPS Meeting and the 79th ST OPS meeting in Bucharest, Romania 14-17 September 2026.
Event Schedule
14 September 2026: IST icebreaker (18:00)
15 September 2026: 52nd IST Ops Meeting // Social event and IST hosted dinner (evening)
16 September 2026: Combined 52nd IST Ops Meeting & 79th ST Ops Meeting // Joint ST icebreaker and social event (evening)
17 September 2026: 79th ST Meeting (till 12:00) followed by lunch

- To network and exchange information and ideas.

Registration
Please be informed that the registration must be completed NLT 31 August 2026.
To allow the host nation to plan appropriately, you will be asked to provide certain information during the registration process.
Please be aware that to organise the 52nd IST Ops Meeting and the 79th ST OPS Meeting this website is used jointly. Therefore, please register for the respective meeting by using the Event Manager system via the following link
During the registration you will be asked to select in which meeting you would like to participate.
If desired, participants are welcome to bring their partner or spouse. Please note that guest details, including ID or passport information, will be required during registration. Once registered, participants will also be informed about the cost of taking part in the icebreaker/social activities.

Conference Venue
The meetings will take place at the House of Army (National Military Circle):

Accommodation
A block reservation has been arranged by the host nation at the Radisson Blu Hotel (Calea Victoriei nr. 63-81, sector 1). However, each participant is responsible for making their own hotel reservation.

Please note that the booking code is only valid for stays between 14 and 17 September. If you wish to extend your stay, for example until 18 September, the code will not apply to the additional night. In this case, the request must be transmitted by email andreea.nicolae@radissonblu.com.
Also, please do not copy and paste the booking code. It must be entered manually on the booking page in order to work correctly.
Please note that reservations can be made until 31 August 2026. After this date, bookings will still be possible; however, room availability cannot be guaranteed.
Cancellation Policy
If you would like to book alternative accommodation, you can find the following hotel recommendations located in the city centre and close to the conference venue:

Admin
To organise the meetings, the Event Manager system will be used.
We kindly inform you that separate conference fees apply for each meeting.
Please note that the conference fee is €80 per meeting, conference fees will be collected on site, in cash only. For your convenience, an invoice will be provided.

Transportation
Transportation to the conference venue to and from the airport, is your individual responsibility.
From the airport to the hotel the following options are recommended:
- Bus 100 to station Piata Romana (5 stations) followed by a 10 minutes walk on George Enescu Street
- Taxi
- Bolt/Uber (about €20-25)
